Dr. Ramiz is an organizational consultant and social critic who uses writing, facilitation, and online platforms to educate, ask questions, and critic popular culture, current events, politics, and the intricate systems impacting the lives of individuals and the communities they are a part of.
As the founder of Sol Services LLC, an equity based, relationship-centered consulting company, Dr. Ramiz supports organizations align their rhetoric, espoused values, and visions for equity and justice with their policies and practices.
Dr. Ramiz loves to spend time outside, playing with her little one, trying new restaurants, and finding values-aligned comrades at local community events.
She dreams of one-day building a home in Boriken on the land where her mother was born and reestablishing a family home in Georgia, USA where her ancestors were enslaved.
Dr. Ramiz holds a BA in American Studies: Race & Ethnic Studies, a MS in Counselor Education: Student Development in Higher Education and an EdD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies: Higher Education Administration.
